For competition shooters who want a fixed, crisp trigger pull on their Glock Gen. 5, the Timney Alpha Competition Series trigger in gold is a well-known choice. The trigger weight is set at 3 pounds (1.36 kg) and is not adjustable. The crispness of the trigger pull is partly due to the teflon-nickel coating on the sears: this coating is self-lubricating, keeps friction low, and offers good corrosion resistance at the same time. The trigger blade features the characteristic Glock trigger safety, here executed with a gold finish.
