For the MK1 and MK2 hand pump from Hill, Hill supplies a replacement set with 3 piston seals. During pumping, this component is continuously exposed to friction, which makes wear inevitable and replacement necessary over time. A handy set to keep on hand if you use the hand pump regularly.
Please note: insufficient lubrication is the main cause of shortened lifespan, as this causes overheating of the piston seal. Consult your hand pump's manual for the correct lubrication procedure and proper use.
