Chassis MDT Oryx - Tikka T1x - FDE

The MDT Oryx chassis for the Tikka T1x in FDE finish is constructed from anodized 6061 aluminum, with the exception of the replaceable polymer side panels. This material choice delivers a combination of rigidity, low weight, and corrosion resistance. Designed for all-around precision shooting — from competitions to hunting — this chassis offers improved ergonomics and a more accurate shooting position. The V-block bedding clamps the action firmly and precisely, keeping play during firing to a minimum and enabling more consistent shot-to-shot placement. Furthermore, the chassis features a free-floating barrel, which benefits accuracy. Installation is straightforward and requires no gunsmith.

Both the buttstock and cheek rest are adjustable. You adjust the length of pull (LOP) using spacers placed between the buttstock end and buttplate — one spacer is included as standard. The cheek rest height is adjusted with an Allen wrench, allowing you to fine-tune your eye alignment with your scope.

The chassis comes standard with an AR grip that feels comfortable in hand. If you want a different grip, such as a vertical variant, replacement is simple. For extra stability when shooting from a barricade, there is an integrated barricade stop.

On the underside of the forend are M-LOK slots for mounting accessories such as a bipod or Arca rail. The underside of the buttstock also features an M-LOK slot, convenient for attaching, for example, a bag rider.

Because the Tikka T1x uses rimfire ammunition, compatibility with AICS magazines is not possible. The chassis is fully compatible with the original Tikka T1x magazine systems for .22 LR.
