The Code Red Assault throat microphone is designed for situations where clear communication is difficult due to ambient noise. What makes this system special is that you remain intelligible even when whispering to the receiver — convenient when discretion is required.
Around the neck sits an adjustable band with two microphones that register throat vibrations instead of sound from the air. This makes the system sensitive to your voice, but virtually immune to background noise.
The included PTT button (push-to-talk) features a sturdy clip on the back, so you can attach it at a convenient location. Operation is easy even with gloves on.
