Rifle Rest Caldwell Lead Sled DFT 3

Looking for a rifle rest that can handle even the heaviest calibers? The Caldwell Lead Sled DFT 3 is built for that: the frame is exceptionally rigid and therefore sturdy enough for substantial calibers. Thanks to a sliding system in that frame, you can extend the rest up to 15 cm, so rifles of virtually any length fit on it.

At the front you adjust the height with a substantial adjustment wheel, while a smaller knob provides lateral adjustment. The rubber of that front rest is weather-resistant and keeps your rifle protected. The stock rests at the rear on a support with a shock-absorbing cushion; that absorbs a large portion of the felt recoil. You adjust that rear support in height via an adjustment wheel located directly below it.

If you want maximum stability, you load the weight platform with ballast up to 45 kg. In addition to Lead Sled weight bags, other types of ballast work as well, and because the platform is adjustable you can clamp the weights securely. The effect: up to 95% less recoil and with it the highest possible shot accuracy. For the dedicated bench tester or shooting-in specialist a reliable workbench.
