When you go shooting, the Sordin Supreme Pro X Textile is a hearing protector that does its job on two fronts. On one hand, it automatically dampens loud shots, on the other hand it lets ambient sound through to you. The latter is regulated by the SordinHEAR2 sound system: the speakers in the cups reproduce the sound around you crystal clear and even amplify it. This way you maintain good contact with your surroundings and don't miss anything that's happening.

Small microphones on the housing pick up that sound. Both those microphones and the battery compartment are waterproof, allowing you to wear the protector under various conditions. Operation is simple via the large buttons. If you leave it unused for a while, it automatically shuts off four hours after the last button press — handy for conserving battery.
