Cleaning Patches VFG Intensive .22

For removing stubborn dirt from the barrel, the VFG Intensive cleaning patches are a good choice. They are made of felt with brass fibers — a combination that cleans thoroughly without damaging the barrel. The patches are slightly larger than the caliber, causing them to be compressed through the barrel and effectively remove dirt and residue. For everyday maintenance, such as removing oil or drying the barrel, the VFG Comfort cleaning patches are the recommended option.

Each patch has a hole in the middle. Screw the first patch firmly onto the adapter and slide the second one loosely over the thread. During the push-through, the first patch removes most of the dirt and drives it out of the barrel. When retracting the cleaning rod, the front patch comes loose, after which the second patch removes any remaining contaminants.
