HikMicro Alpex 4K A50EL LRF Night Vision Riflescope

Are you looking for a night vision scope that really delivers sharp images? The HikMicro Alpex 4K A50EL LRF revolves around its Ultra-HD CMOS sensor of 3840x2160p. That sensor works together with a 50 mm objective lens that transmits plenty of light, giving you a powerful observation tool on your rifle. Mounting is simple: thanks to the 30 mm tube diameter, you can slide it onto the scope rail with 30 mm rings.

What the sensor picks up, you see displayed on a 1920x1080 OLED screen. With a refresh rate of 50 Hz, everything runs smoothly. The eye relief is 55 mm and it includes a reticle. Choose from ten types of reticles and adjust each in eight colors, so the reticle stands out clearly against any background and remains visible.

By default, this HikMicro magnifies 3.5x. If you add digital magnification (2x, 4x, 8x), it goes up to 28x and lets you get close to your target. At the lowest setting, you get a field of view of 15.4x8.6 meters at 100 meters distance. Handy is the PIP function: you maintain an overview while simultaneously using (maximum) magnification.

Measuring the distance to your target is handled by the LRF (Laser Rangefinder) with which this version of the Alpex 4K is equipped. Up to 1000 meters it detects the target, with an accuracy of approximately one meter. On top of that is a ballistic calculator that computes the point of impact. Combine both, and you get accurate point of impact at distances up to 1000 meters, clearly displayed on the screen.

You can also take photos and record videos of what you observe. Operation is done with buttons on the top of the eyepiece. Furthermore, there's a recoil-activated function: if the scope detects recoil, it automatically records a short video. That recording starts a few seconds before the recoil and runs until a few seconds after, so you keep a short film with sound of every trigger movement. Storage happens on the internal 64 GB memory, but you can also view it on your smartphone via the HikMicro Sight app. With that same app you stream the images directly to a second screen, allowing you and at least one other person to observe comfortably.

Durability comes from the shock-resistant aluminum housing with IP67 certification: completely dustproof and submersible to one meter of water for up to 30 minutes. Power comes from a 18650 battery that lasts eleven hours. If you turn off the scope when not in use, you extend that further — startup only takes three seconds. That 18650 battery is moreover replaceable and easy to charge. A common choice for the hunter who also wants to work precisely at night.
