HikMicro Habrok Pro HQ50LN 940 nm Multispectral Binoculars

At first glance an ordinary binocular, in reality much more: that is the HikMicro Habrok Pro HQ50LN 940 nm multispectral binocular. The device retains the familiar shape of the original Habrok — already a strong model in itself — but comes equipped with the latest technology. The result is crystal-clear observation, even when it's dark outside. For those who want to get the maximum out of night observation, this is the top model in the range.

Optical sensor
On the left side is the optical module, providing sharp observation during the day. Its heart is an optical CMOS sensor with a resolution of 3840x2160p. A lot of light enters thanks to the 60 mm objective diameter. The optical magnification is 5.5x; those who want to zoom in further can activate digital zoom and go up to a maximum of 22x, bringing an object to be observed closer. At 100 meters you cover a field of view of 12.6x7.2 meters.

Thermal imaging sensor
The right side of the HikMicro Habrok Pro HQ50LN 940 nm multispectral binocular houses the thermal imaging sensor, with a 50 mm objective. That sensor has 640x512p, features a pixel pitch of 12 µm and achieves an NETD of only 15 mk — even minimal temperature differences remain visible. The detection range extends up to 2600 meters and the field of view measures 15.4x9.3 meters at 100 meters distance. In terms of magnification you start at 4.3x and zoom digitally up to 25.8x.

IR Illuminator and LRF
Next to the thermal imaging sensor on this HikMicro Habrok Pro HQ50LN 940 nm multispectral binocular is a 940 nm IR illuminator. Its light beam remains invisible to the naked eye, so the observed object remains unaware. For distance measurement there is a laser rangefinder (LRF) on board, with a range up to 1000 meters.

Display
Two OLED displays of 1920x1080p show the image with crystal clarity, and with a refresh rate of 50 Hz everything remains smooth and comfortable to follow. The streaming function is handy: the image goes easily to a second screen, so multiple people can watch via one multispectral binocular. Per sensor you choose the desired display — the optical sensor has a day, night and auto mode, while the thermal imaging sensor switches between black hot, white hot, red hot and fusion. Under varying conditions you maintain a clear image.

Camera function
Operation is via buttons on the top, which work intuitively. Via those same buttons you activate the built-in camera function: you capture photos and record videos with audio, allowing you to easily preserve what you observe. Storage happens on the internal memory of 64 GB.

Battery & waterproofing
Power comes from a replaceable, rechargeable Li-ion battery pack that lasts 7 hours, allowing the Habrok Pro to remain operational for a long time before charging is needed. Including that battery pack, the total weight comes to 975 grams. The housing carries an IP67 certification: completely dustproof and resistant to 30 minutes of submersion in water up to one meter deep.
