De BUL TAC Axe is een compacte hakbijl vervaardigd uit 8Cr13Mov staal — een staalsoort die goed scoort op hardheid en daarmee zorgt voor een duurzame snijrand. Wordt de bijl na intensief gebruik toch minder scherp, dan is herslijpen eenvoudig: het 8Cr13Mov staal leent zich daar goed voor. Met een totale lengte van 213 mm en een greeplengte van 153 mm zit het gewicht goed verdeeld. Daarbij draagt de skeletonised greep bij aan een lager gewicht en een betere balans in de hand. Het lemmet beschikt over een snijrand van 86 mm.
