The DNT M21 850 nm infrared module is intended as a replacement part for the TNC225R thermal imaging device and the Zulus HD night vision devices (excluding the (V2) 5-20x LRF version). Those who prefer a different wavelength can use this to replace the original — the two available wavelengths each have their own characteristics:
- 940 nm wavelength: completely invisible, but has a shorter range
- 850 nm wavelength: large range, but emits a subtle glow that is visible to some animals
Please note: the DNT M21 850 nm IR lamp is not compatible with the Zulus HD (V2) 5-20x LRF.
