De DNT M21 850 nm infraroodmodule is bedoeld als vervangingsonderdeel voor de TNC225R warmtebeeldkijker en de Zulus HD-nachtzichtapparaten (uitgezonderd de (V2) 5-20x LRF-versie). Wie de voorkeur geeft aan een andere golflengte, kan hiermee het origineel vervangen — de twee beschikbare golflengtes hebben elk hun eigen kenmerken:
- 940 nm golflengte: volledig onzichtbaar, maar heeft een korter bereik
- 850 nm golflengte: groot bereik, maar straalt een subtiele gloed uit die zichtbaar is voor sommige dieren
Let op: de DNT M21 850 nm IR-lamp is niet compatibel met de Zulus HD (V2) 5-20x LRF.
