The Expedition G-LOFT® women's trousers with 37.5® technology represent the warmest option in the Merkel Gear collection, succeeding the previous WNTR models. Built with 120g/m² G-LOFT® insulation from Austrian manufacturer Goldeck Textil, these trousers rank among the warmest hunting trousers available. The exterior comprises ultrafine brushed tricot in olive green that absorbs sound completely. The high-performance membrane (20,000mm/20,000g/m²) equipped with 37.5® technology keeps water out while delivering exceptional breathability. The G-LOFT® lining dampens all noise transmission, allowing even a fox to approach within rifle range—provided the wearer remains motionless. The proven MaxComfort waistband protects the kidneys from heat loss and fits comfortably without restriction, with extra silicone reinforcement and stretch panels accommodating merino base layers and multiple clothing systems. The front closure features a substantial loop button and solid Gutos® hook fastener (German-engineered), while soft belt loops accommodate optional Merkel Gear suspenders. The rear is lined in Oxford nylon. Seven pockets feature quiet-running YKK® zippers operated by either durable cordless pulls or optional silent semi-automatic sliders. The rear features a zippered pocket, two handwarmer side pockets with exceptionally soft fleece lining, and two generously sized cargo pockets with integrated knife sheaths plus individual side pockets for rangefinder or whistle access while seated. Two-way knee-level zippers at the hem enable rapid removal during demanding hunts and accommodate heavy boot fitting. These trousers pair ideally with the WNTR Expedition Parka.
