The Full Zip Underjacket 400 is engineered as the core midlayer in your thermal system — ideal for optimal insulation between base layer and outer shell. The fabric is produced on specialized circular knitting machinery, resulting in a garment with minimal seaming throughout. This translates directly to practical comfort: no irritating seams against your skin and a jacket built to last significantly longer under use. The knit structure combines fine merino wool with a polyamide layer, finished as a plush fleece. The air pockets within this construction, combined with the natural crimp of wool fibers, create a dense knit that traps substantial warmth — precisely what effective insulation requires. The elastic arm cuffs feature convenient thumb loops and are integrated directly into the knit itself. The slightly extended back length prevents heat loss at the lower torso. All Woolpower products are manufactured in Northern Sweden.
