Woolpower Crewneck Lite Merino Base Layer

This soft, lint-free long-sleeve base layer from fine Merino wool is ideal for outdoor activities during cooler transitional seasons or extended periods in cold night and early morning conditions. The extended back panel prevents cold air from creating discomfort around the sensitive lower back area. The characteristic texture of Merino wool provides effective insulation against both cold and heat, making this shirt highly versatile as a foundational layer. Wool remains the most naturally functional material nature offers. No synthetic fiber has yet replicated wool's exceptional properties. The material is self-cleaning to a significant degree and naturally antibacterial, which means wool garments remain fresh even after extended wear without developing odor. Wool fibers absorb up to thirty percent of their own weight in moisture while remaining dry to the touch and warm against the skin. The addition of synthetic performance fibers and flat seams make this shirt particularly durable and resistant to wear. Every Woolpower garment is hand-sewn, inspected and labeled in Northern Sweden.
