The HELIX Infinity Forest reversible fleece jacket from Merkel Gear is a two-sided garment engineered for modern hunting applications. One side displays the Infinity Forest camouflage pattern while the reverse offers olive green, making it suitable for both driven hunts and stalking. The fleece fabric is notably durable—approximately 30% stronger than standard fleece—with excellent anti-pilling properties that ensure long-term reliability without visible wear. The technical construction prioritizes the active hunter in the field. The WND-X membrane provides wind and water-repellent performance, combining with the fleece to create a functional layering piece usable year-round. Raglan sleeves are cut to sit comfortably under a rucksack without binding during extended movement, while the fit accommodates the BOREAS jacket from G-LOFT® underneath for winter insulation. Both lower pockets feature extended YKK zippers positioned high enough to remain accessible when a pack hipbelt sits over them. The angled pocket opening allows water to shed from your elbows when your hands are inserted, rather than pooling inside. The jacket includes two chest pouches on each side with hidden YKK closures, suitable for a GPS tracker or similar compact gear. Thumb loops provide additional insulation, while a rear reflector improves visibility during lower-light conditions. Small fabric loops integrated into the raglan sleeves anchor GPS antenna leads, and an elastic waistband maintains consistent fit. Care: hand wash at 30°C only; do not iron, tumble dry, or bleach.
