This premium 21700 Li-Ion cell from Ansmann integrates a USB Type-C charging port and Safety Board for straightforward, secure charging. You can recharge via standard USB Type-C cable from a PC, power bank, or USB mains adapter (5V), or alternatively with a dedicated lithium charger. A charge status LED on the positive terminal indicates active charging (red light) and full charge completion (green light). The integrated protection circuit safeguards the cell against overcharge, overcurrent, short circuit, and deep discharge conditions, ensuring extended service life. This Safety Board adds approximately 3–4 mm to the cell length compared to unprotected 21700 cells. With a capacity of 3400 mAh (minimum 3250 mAh) and nominal voltage of 3.6 V, this cell is purpose-built for high-drain applications such as LED torches and tactical headlamps. Li-Ion technology delivers nearly double the energy density of traditional NiMH batteries, with substantially lower weight and minimal self-discharge. The 21700 cell supports up to 2000 charge cycles and performs reliably across an operating temperature range of −20°C to +60°C.
