The battery-powered Gardigo Marder-Frei Mobile provides a straightforward and effective solution against marten damage in vehicles, garages, homes, attics, sheds and garden structures. The device operates via high-frequency sound waves that create a disruptive environment for martens, encouraging them to establish themselves elsewhere. The battery-powered design eliminates the need for vehicle electrical connections, allowing flexible deployment anywhere without complex wiring or professional installation. Setup requires no specialized assistance. Simply position the unit in the engine bay, attic, garage or other problem areas yourself. The integrated interval control—cycling approximately every 60 seconds—prevents habituation, ensuring the marten is continually deterred rather than acclimating to the sound. This approach eliminates the considerable installation fees typically charged by automotive workshops. The device generates alternating sound waves at 12 kHz, a frequency martens find aversive. With an effective range of roughly 40 m², it provides reliable protection within enclosed spaces and vehicles. While the animal does not disappear immediately, it will migrate to more appealing locations over a period of several days to weeks depending on local conditions. Two cable ties (210 mm) are included for secure mounting.
