Its distinctive lateral extension provides superior grip when racking the slide, making it particularly useful for single-hand operation or when working under pressure. Beyond ergonomics, the design minimizes the gap between slide and frame, offering enhanced protection to the internal locking mechanism against dirt and external contamination. Engineered for Glock models with standard 25.5 mm slide width, the Racking Cover Plate installs straightforwardly. Compatibility note: it is not suitable for Glock pistols chambered in .22 LR, 10 mm AUTO, .45 GAP, or .45 AUTO (except G41 Gen4), nor for Slimline models or when using replaceable grip scales with extended beavertail. For the majority of popular Glock variants, however, this represents a worthwhile addition that enhances both handling and firearm durability.
