The Wildlutscher Special salt block is a proven attractant for hoofed game and wild boar. Red deer, fallow deer, mouflon, roe deer, sika deer, chamois and wild boar are all strongly drawn to it. Composed entirely of natural ingredients and finished in dark colour, the block offers excellent camouflage while remaining visually unobtrusive in areas where game responds cautiously to light-coloured objects. The material's hardness ensures the block remains effective for several weeks of use. With adequate rain protection—such as a roof cover—service life extends considerably. The intense, long-lasting scent creates sustained attracting power, drawing game from considerable distance and binding them to the area over time. Beyond its primary function, the salt block reduces hunting pressure on the habitat: continuous feed hopper refilling becomes unnecessary, minimising disturbance while maintaining a constant focal point for local game. Installation is straightforward: secure the block to a tree using an M20 bolt and ring, or position it on an iron stake beneath a protective roof cover (recommended). Optimal mounting height varies by species—wild boar 0.80–1.20 m, roe deer 1.20 m, fallow deer 1.20–1.40 m, and predators 1.20–1.60 m.
