BALLISTOL Aluminium Bluing

BALLISTOL Aluminium Bluing is a user-friendly and economical solution for re-bluing and restoring minor damage to aluminium components. The product is excellently suited to refining surfaces, renewing the blue finish, and repairing scratches and handling marks on anodised components such as scope turrets and handguards on tactical rifles. Application is straightforward: degrease the surface beforehand and lightly sand if necessary. Pour a small amount into a plastic or glass container and apply at room temperature. The quality of the blue tone depends on the alloy composition; repeated application deepens the colour towards black. The resulting finish is wear-resistant and durable, making it ideal for restoration work on hunting and tactical equipment. Technical Data: Colour: dark red, transparent | Odour: sweet, almond aroma | Water-soluble: easily soluble | Coverage: approximately 100 ml per m² of surface to be blued Warning: This product contains sulphuric acid, sodium hydroxide, caustic soda and selenium dioxide. Causes serious skin irritation and eye damage. Toxic to aquatic organisms with long-term effects. Wear protective gloves, clothing and eye protection. Avoid inhalation of vapours. In case of skin or eye contact, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children. If ingested, rinse mouth and seek immediate medical attention. Develops toxic gases on contact with acids.
