The NEXTORCH UL10UV is a practical and versatile clip lamp distinguished by its combination of white light and UV functionality. Equipped with two retention clips, it attaches securely to baseball caps, jacket pockets, or MOLLE systems with the first clip, while the spring-loaded second clip works equally well on shirt or trouser pockets. The large pushbutton switch operates reliably with gloved hands, and the high actuation force prevents accidental activation during transport or storage. The lamp features two white LEDs and one UV LED with a wavelength of 365nm, with the lamp head adjustable through 180 degrees for flexible positioning. At maximum intensity, the beam reaches approximately 18 meters, making it suitable for area illumination. Output can be reduced for closer work, and the warm white light serves effectively as a reading source. Switching between white light and 365nm UV is seamless. The UV function reveals latent security features on identity documents and banknotes, exposing counterfeits immediately—document verification is possible even in daylight conditions. The UL10UV includes a fully automatic SOS function that, once activated, flashes the international distress signal in continuous loops, ideal for marking hazardous locations after dark. The housing is constructed from impact-resistant glass-fiber reinforced plastic and offers water resistance to IPX-4 standard. Two standard AAA batteries (or rechargeable equivalents) power the unit; the efficient LEDs demand minimal current draw.
