The Bore-Nado cleaning rope by Allen is a practical maintenance tool for field care, range days, or home cleaning. Purpose-designed for shotguns, it removes fouling and debris from the bore efficiently in a single pass.
The Bore-Nado employs vortex brush technology that loosens contamination and residue while the thick, braided core removes it in one motion. This combination system delivers more thorough cleaning results than traditional cleaning ropes. The thin end features a weighted brass guide, ensuring smooth passage through your firearm. Unlike lighter alternatives, the Bore-Nado is equipped with durable brass brushes that effectively remove soot buildup, powder residue, and other harmful deposits.
Its compact size means the Bore-Nado fits easily in your gun cabinet or ammunition pouch. Immediately after shooting, pull the rope through the bore with a few drops of cleaning solvent, which significantly simplifies more thorough cleaning later. Insert the rope with the weighted brass end first into the chamber, then feed it further into the bore. Allow the rope to pass completely through the bore until it exits at the muzzle, grasp the brass end, wrap the rope once around your hand, and pull the Bore-Nado completely from the bore. Repeat this process 3 to 5 times until the bore is completely clean. For optimal results, apply solvent to the rope before pulling it through the bore.
Available calibers: 12, 10, and 20, 16, 28 (see item numbers 2009655 and 2009656).
