The Heim Soft Lead is crafted from genuine cattle leather, heavily greased and vegetable-tanned to ensure complete compatibility with dogs and sensitive skin—ideal for extended use in the field or at home. The lead features three-point length adjustment and is fitted with professionally finished carabiners and rings, with each piece manufactured in Germany to rigorous quality standards.
Available in black or brown, the lead comes in two lengths (2.40 m and 3 m) and four widths (10 mm, 14 mm, 18 mm, and 20 mm), allowing you to select the configuration best suited to your dog and intended use. The leather naturally develops a pleasant patina through use while remaining supple and durable for years of reliable service.
Important: Always attach the lead using the robust hook and riveted D-ring to the collar—this connection is correctly mounted at delivery. This orientation ensures the riveted rings remain loaded in the correct direction of pull. Attachment at the alternative point can cause damage, as pulling force would work against the grain of the leather bond.
