The HS5R is a robust and dependable cordless handheld searchlight suitable for virtually any application. This professional-grade light delivers consistent brightness courtesy of a powerful 5W LED paired with a specialised reflector system, producing a homogeneous beam of up to 420 lumens with an effective range of 500 metres.
Equipped with a tilting lamp head (90°) and an integrated strobe function with supplied orange colour filter, the HS5R functions effectively as a warning light in road traffic situations. The rugged ABS polymer housing is designed for gloved operation, whilst a strong magnetic base on the underside enables quick and secure attachment to metallic surfaces. Power comes from an integrated 2600mAh Li-Ion battery pack offering three brightness modes: full output provides approximately 2 hours of runtime, energy-saving mode delivers roughly 9.5 hours, and strobe mode yields around 16 hours of operation. Charging occurs via micro-USB through the supplied cable or the provided wall-mounted charging cradle.
A microcontroller-managed charging system incorporates quadruple safety protection—short-circuit prevention, overcharge protection, deep-discharge safeguard, and overload protection—to prevent battery damage and extend service life. A status display integrated into the power switch indicates remaining battery capacity and charging progress. Protection rating: IP20.
