Berger & Schrötter Rotating Beacon Light

The Berger & Schrötter rotating beacon is mounted to the vehicle roof via an integrated magnetic base, ensuring visibility from all angles. Power connects through the vehicle's standard 12/24 volt cigarette lighter socket. The retractable cable extends to approximately two metres, offering full flexibility in positioning and setup. Equipped with 60 LEDs, the beacon features two selectable operating modes controlled via a simple red switch button on the plug connector: continuous omni-directional illumination and a triple-flash pattern. The lens is removable for maintenance purposes. Operating reliably across temperatures from -30°C to +50°C, this unit performs consistently in diverse weather conditions encountered in field work. The manufacturer recommends supplementing the magnetic base with screw-fastening for the roof, particularly during intensive use. Optional self-drilling screws (3 pieces, 3 mm diameter) prevent vibration-induced loosening and damage from overhanging branches. According to article 52 StVZO, beacon lights require special authorisation for road use.
