The Ansmann HD200B is a professional headlamp equally suited to hunting, fishing, camping and mountaineering as it is to industrial work, skilled trades and rescue operations. The fundamental advantage is clear: both hands remain free, and the light always shines exactly where you need it. At just 72 grams, this headlamp is exceptionally lightweight and delivers outstanding comfort during extended wear. The elasticated headband adjusts flexibly to fit any head securely and comfortably. The band attachment serves dual purpose—a hook for hanging the lamp in a tent and a whistle for emergency situations. The ABS plastic housing provides necessary robustness and pleasant handling characteristics. Light output is delivered by two LEDs: a powerful 3W LED surrounded by an advanced optical reflector system that bundles light efficiently to reach 50 metres, ideal for distant objects, and a 1.5W COB-LED that provides pleasant, broad, even illumination for close work. Two ergonomic pressure switches control all modes effortlessly, even with gloved hands. The first switch selects between full power (both LEDs at 100%) and the 3W LED alone at full output. The second switch toggles the COB-LED between 100% and an efficient 30% setting, perfect for close-range tasks and extending battery life to approximately 17 hours. IP44 protection renders this lamp resistant to water splash, making it genuinely suitable for outdoor conditions.
