Hagopur Duftzaun Concentrate Vario

The Hagopur Duftzaun concentrate is a re-vaccination fluid for existing foam deposits installed along roadways. Developed in collaboration with the ADAC, this product deters wildlife and effectively reduces traffic accidents involving roe deer, wild boar and other game. In use throughout Germany since 1990, the system has proven successful across approximately 30,000 kilometres of road. Statistical data shows application results in an average reduction of wildlife accidents of approximately 76 percent; in many documented cases, reduction reaches 100 percent. The system achieves equal success in Austria, Switzerland and Spain. The mechanism relies on specially formulated foam applied to accident hotspots. Under UV radiation, the fine pores in the foam open and release a scent compound—a composition of odour components derived from wolf, lynx, bear and human. This scent signal deters wildlife by working in conjunction with road noise and vehicle movement. The concentrate requires no rifle application; using the capillary tube, you apply the active substance easily onto or into the hardened foam. To maintain the effect of foam deposits, they must be re-vaccinated with concentrate at least twice annually. The product then remains effective for four to six months. One container holds 500 ml and is sufficient for complete re-injection of one side of a foam barrier approximately 500 metres in length, applied in double rows.
