BALLISTOL Balsin Stock Oil is a refined wood protection formula against rain, moisture, rot and mildew, delivering deep penetrating care. Developed specifically for maintaining and preserving rifle stocks, it protects against all weather conditions whilst producing a subtle satin finish that enhances the natural grain structure. Formulated exclusively from pure natural products, Balsin is equally suited to caring for all unfinished fine wood types, furniture and antique pieces. Water marks disappear quickly, dull and lifeless surfaces regain a soft silk-like sheen—whether applied to tables, chairs or rifle stocks—bringing out the beauty of the grain and restoring lustre with the characteristic scent of summer pine forests. Brittled and weathered stock wood becomes water-repellent and weather-resistant once again. The oil regenerates the grain structure, deepens it and imparts a slightly darker tone without compromising the natural breathability of the wood. Suitable for all wooden stock types, particularly walnut and other natural hardwoods. Treatment prevents roughness and discolouration while protecting against rot and mildew.
