BALLISTOL Quick Bluing

BALLISTOL Quick Bluing is a cold bluing agent ideally suited for restoring damaged bluing and bluing all weapon steel grades with chromium content up to 3%. This product eliminates the need for time-consuming bluing baths, saving you both time and money. Whether you are restoring damaged bluing on rifles and handguns, bluing a complete firearm, or processing small components in industrial or craft applications, BALLISTOL Quick Bluing offers a practical solution. The agent also works effectively on zinc die-cast parts, such as signal pistols. Application is straightforward. First degrease the surface, apply the bluing agent, allow approximately three minutes working time until a yellowish-white coating forms, rinse with water, and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Important: avoid touching the surface with bare hands after degreasing to prevent new fingerprints. For more intense coloring, repeat the procedure; for very deep bluing, these steps can be performed multiple times. Finally, protect the new bluing with BALLISTOL universal oil or Gunex weapon care product. This 50 ml bottle is intended exclusively for unfinished surfaces or areas requiring restoration, as the agent may optically alter existing bluing. Always work thoroughly, from degreasing through fine steel wool polishing to final oil protection.
