This classic pocket knife is inseparable from the Böker name. The exceptionally rigid body is machined from a single piece of nickel silver through a sintering process, then polished to a refined finish. Sintering bonds the raw materials through heat and compression into the desired form, creating a blade that is both durable and aesthetically refined. The hollow-ground blade is forged from Böhler N690 stainless steel and features the distinctive profile that defines the Scout's unmistakable character. A traditional Backlock mechanism secures and holds the blade firmly in the open position. The locking system operates via a spring-loaded latch housed within the handle. When the blade is deployed, the latch engages a notch in the blade and locks it in place. The rear end of the latch is partially exposed on the back of the handle, allowing it to be accessed. Pressing this exposed tang lifts the latch from the blade's notch, releasing the lock and allowing safe closure. Warm, certified Thuja wood scales complete this harmonious design, offering a natural grip that complements the knife's timeless appeal.
