Dotzauer Fürst-Pless Hunting Horn in B with Tuning Slide and Leather Wrap

The Fürst-Pless horn by Dotzauer is purpose-built for field use, driven hunts, and signal calling. This instrument combines precise intonation with responsive blowing characteristics and robust construction suitable for demanding hunting environments. The wrap and carrying strap are crafted from genuine leather, delivering both comfortable handling and long-term durability in the field. The tuning slide serves an essential function when coordinating the horn with other wind instruments. Intonation naturally shifts with temperature changes, variation in blowing technique, and other field factors. Extending the slide lowers the pitch slightly; pushing it in raises the pitch. This adjustment capability allows you to maintain accurate tuning throughout the day and across seasons. The horn is pitched in B and features a silver-plated mouthpiece. Construction uses polished brass with 0.5 mm material thickness, finished with a nickel-silver band at the bell termination. Manufactured entirely in Germany.
