Hagopur Kitz-Rettung is an effective fawn protection product based on nature-identical scent compounds designed to prevent mowing accidents. The scent signals danger to the mother deer, encouraging her to move her newborn fawn to a safe location before mowing operations begin. This simple method significantly reduces the risk of young deer ending up beneath mowing machinery. Application is straightforward and reliable. Optimal results are achieved using dedicated aluminium strips (sold separately). Apply Kitz-Rettung approximately three days before scheduled mowing. Install wooden stakes across the pasture at intervals of roughly 10 to 20 metres. Attach the aluminium strips to each stake at hip height, hanging downward, and spray Kitz-Rettung onto the felt carriers. One 500 ml can delivers approximately 320 applications.
