The lens does not affect light transmission and fits seamlessly on all models of the SiOnyx Aurora series, including the SPORT, BLACK, STANDARD/CLASSIC, PRO and PRO EXPLORER. Important features of the SiOnyx Objective Protective Lens: 3D-printed plastic housing with excellent grip thanks to knurled design. Hook-and-loop fastener on the inside for secure attachment to your night vision device. Lightweight plexiglass lens of only 4mm thick and weighs less than 25 grams. With a housing made of innovative 3D-printed plastic, this protective lens offers not only durability but also excellent grip. This is especially handy during cold winter days, when you might be working with gloves. The interior, equipped with hook-and-loop fastener, ensures reliable attachment, so the lens stays firmly in place during adventurous activities. The plexiglass lens is more than robust enough to withstand multiple impacts from airsoft pellets shot at speeds up to 90 meters per second. This protection makes the lens ideal for airsoft and paintball, where your valuable equipment could use some extra safety. However, note that the lens is not resistant to heavy BB pellets of 0.45 grams or heavier, which come at 130 meters per second. Whatever adventures you plan, this lens offers protection in situations where your night vision device is vulnerable to damage.
