For shooters who want stability without extra weight or bulk, the Rome Scipio monopod is a solid choice. The frame is manufactured from black anodized aluminum, complemented by steel adjustment pins and stainless steel screws — a combination that provides a sturdy, durable construction. Mounting on a Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail is quick via the supplied Quick Mount connection, so you can install or remove the monopod without tools. Removal is rarely necessary anyway: the monopod folds up and thus takes up minimal space. A locking button keeps it in the folded position and prevents it from opening unintentionally.
The adjustable length ranges from a minimum of 2.5 cm to a maximum of 11 cm. You adjust it by turning the knurled adjustment ring — the knurled surface provides sufficient grip for precise micro-adjustments. This allows you to bring the height to exactly the point you need to stay aimed at the target.
