Chasing away flies, mosquitoes, spiders and other pests becomes much more fun with this Bug-A-Salt 3.0 Classic Yellow salt gun. Such a salt gun is not necessary, but with its playful, striking look you turn it into a sport to shoot down the little creatures. It works great up close, although of course you get more enjoyment from a shot from a distance. Compared to the earlier models, the 3.0 has a sturdier spring: the salt flies away faster as a result and reaches a greater distance, so you can take out the pests from further away.
Because you're aiming at fairly small targets, accurate aiming counts. For this you use the notch and front sight on the weapon. Contributing to an accurate shot is also the very light trigger, which you pull effortlessly. On top is a transparent salt reservoir that you refill easily, and with salt you have everything you need on hand: refill, reload via the pre-formed pump-action grip at the bottom of the forearm, and start aiming. Batteries are not required. For those new to this, it's an accessible entry point.
Never aim at the eyes or face, as this can cause injury; shooting at people or pets with this salt gun is strictly forbidden. There is a safety catch to prevent accidental firing.
