For cleaning, oiling and drying the bore, you use the Bore Tech Proof-Positive wool brush in caliber 12-16 Ga. The brush is made up of tightly packed cotton on an aluminum Proof-Positive rod — without brass. The latter is deliberate: brass discoloration is prevented this way, so you can reliably assess whether the barrel is actually clean.
With this wool brush you apply cleaning agent and oil to the bore of your barrel, and you also use it to dry the barrel after cleaning.
