During shooting, the large bolt and powerful buffer spring exert considerable force on the trigger lock pin. In practice, this means that a standard pin can come loose, and through repeated vibrations the pin hole can gradually wear out. LayLax solves this with a two-part design: the pin is fitted with threads so you can secure it firmly, and at both ends there is a head that prevents the pin from sliding completely through the pin hole. Both heads have a hexagonal slot, so you can tighten and secure the trigger lock pin with an Allen key.
