HikMicro Thunder 3.0 Clip-On TQ50C Thermal Imaging Scope (without reticle)

The HikMicro Thunder 3.0 Clip-On TQ50C is a thermal imaging viewer without reticle, designed to be mounted as a clip-on to an existing rifle scope. This makes thermal images directly observable through the scope, making it a popular choice for hunters who want to keep observing in poor lighting conditions. The thermal sensor operates at a resolution of 640x512p and a pixel pitch of 12 µm — small pixels positioned closely together that deliver a detailed image. The thermal sensitivity (NETD) is only 15 mK, meaning that even minimal temperature differences become visible and the observed object appears sharp on screen.

Images are displayed on an OLED screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 50 Hz. This provides smooth and detailed imagery, even with moving targets. Six color modes are available for different conditions:

• Black hot
• White hot
• Red hot
• Fusion
• Red monochrome
• Green monochrome

The objective has a diameter of 50 mm. The field of view at 100 meters is 15.4x12.3 meters, and the thermal sensor has a detection range of 2600 meters — more than sufficient for long-distance observation.

In addition to observation, the TQ50C features photo and video recording functionality, including audio. Operation is via buttons on top of the housing. Convenient is the recoil activation function: as soon as the clip-on registers recoil, a short video is automatically saved. This captures every shot without you having to do anything. Recordings and photos are stored in the internal memory of 64 GB. Via the hotspot function, files can easily be transferred to a smartphone, and the streaming function allows viewing via a second screen.

The housing weighs 500 grams and features IP67 certification: completely dustproof and resistant to submersion in water up to one meter deep for a maximum of 30 minutes. The replaceable and rechargeable Li-ion battery provides a runtime of six hours.
