Vanguard VEO HD IV 65A 18-45x65 Spotting Scope

The Vanguard VEO HD IV 65A is a spotting scope with a magnification range of 18 to 45x and an objective lens diameter of 65 mm. This objective format provides sufficient light transmission to deliver a sharp, clear image even in twilight conditions. Fully multi coated lenses and a BAK4 prism contribute to high light transmission, even when lighting conditions are unfavorable. The glass is HOYA extra low-dispersion quality, which minimizes color aberrations.
Zooming is done via an intuitive zoom ring. The field of view measures no less than 38 meters at 914 meters at 18x magnification and 21 meters at the maximum magnification of 45x. Focus can be achieved from 6 meters, with a dual focus knob controlling two separate adjustment wheels: one for fast coarse focusing, one for precise fine focusing.
Durability is a high priority for this scope. A nitrogen filling keeps internal components — including the lenses — free from moisture and dust, even in rain or temperature fluctuations. The extendable sunshade is built-in and the eyepiece is adjustable, so you can use the scope with or without glasses.
Mounting on a tripod is quick thanks to the included Arca quick-release plate, which fits any tripod with an Arca mounting clamp. The scope can also be rotated in its clamping ring, allowing you to adjust the viewing angle as desired. The housing material is carbon composite: lightweight and durable, with a total weight of just over 1.5 kg. A popular choice for sport shooters and long-distance nature observation.
