If you want more raw stopping power from your air rifle, these Nielsen slugs in 6.35 mm and 29.5 grain are a logical choice. The projectile is pressed from soft lead and has a hollow point, which expands significantly on impact and releases a lot of energy.
Where slugs differ from regular pellets comes down to two things. Due to their higher mass, simply more force lands on the target. Additionally, the streamlined shape ensures that you remain accurate even at greater distances.
A ballistic coefficient of 0.093 belongs to this flat base slug, which is also pre-oiled when delivered to you. Among shooters aiming at distance a common choice.
Note: You cannot use these slugs in FX Smooth Twist barrels; however, they are intended for the FX Smooth Twist X slug liner.
