With the Nielsen .45 mm HPBT 400 grain (.457) slug you get a projectile that is designed at the base with a Boat Tail and has a hollow point at the top. Upon impact, that hollow point opens to maximum expansion, which ensures optimal energy transfer to the target. Per slug you get a length of 29.55 mm.
Production takes place via cold pressing of soft lead. This method keeps tolerances at Nielsen to a minimum and delivers a high degree of consistency.
