Rifle Rest Caldwell Lead Sled Max

For shooters working with heavy calibers or who simply want to lie as stably as possible, the Caldwell Lead Sled Max is a serious option. The rest is suitable for firearms of virtually all lengths and calibers, and combines recoil absorption with a stable shooting position.

Central to it is the removable weight reservoir of 7.5 liters. Fill it with water or sand — depending on the material, the reservoir contains approximately 7 to 11 kg of ballast. That weight absorbs a large portion of the recoil even with the heaviest calibers and simultaneously provides extra stability for the entire construction.

Both the front and rear rests are adjustable. The front rest is adjustable in height and features a tilting clamp. The rear rest has a shock-absorbing pad that protects the rifle and further dampens recoil; adjust the height via a control wheel, and a second control wheel regulates the lateral position.

Via a sliding mechanism, the frame is adjustable in length, allowing both compact and longer firearms to fit. Foldable for transport and storage. The Lead Sled Max can be used in three ways:
