The material is a combination of DuPont Zytel polymer and TPU rubber, a hybrid between rubber and plastic with good shock-absorbing properties.
The main task of these shock plates is to absorb the impact when you drop a magazine. That significantly spares the magazines and extends their service life. The bottom of the plate is shaped so that it also provides stable support when shooting from a platform — a handy side benefit for practical use.
Each shock plate measures 30x40x11 mm and weighs 20 grams. The surface has a recessed dot matrix where you can apply your own markings. Bumper locks are included. A common choice for airsoft players who regularly use their Hi-Capa magazines in action.
