For everyday use, the SOG Tellus ATK Olive Drab Orange pocket knife offers a well-thought-out and functional design. One-handed opening works smoothly thanks to the thumb stud and flipper on the blade, while the frame lock keeps the knife firmly locked during use. The blade is made of 440C steel, a material known for its high hardness, excellent wear resistance and good corrosion resistance. This allows the cutting edge to last a long time without regular sharpening, making this knife a low-maintenance choice for everyday use.
The handle consists of two scale parts made of GRN (glass-reinforced nylon), a material that is light but at the same time resistant to impacts and rough use. The inherent moisture resistance of GRN makes the knife also suitable for outdoor conditions. Between the scale parts are sturdy steel liners that reinforce the construction. A pre-formed finger groove provides a firm grip, and the included carry clip makes it easy to attach the knife to a trouser pocket.
