Folding Knife SOG Flare Satin

The SOG Flare Satin is a folding knife with assisted opening via SOG Assisted Technology (SAT). A small push on the thumb stud is enough to make the blade open. Once opened, the arc lock keeps the blade firmly locked — a solid mechanism that provides sufficient resistance to keep the knife reliable even with heavy use.

The blade has a length of 88.9 mm and is ground from 8Cr13MoV steel, a material with good rust and wear resistance. The hardness is between 54 and 58 HRC: sturdy enough to keep the cutting edge sharp for a long time, but also easy to sharpen when needed. The ambidextrous thumb stud is located at the rear of the blade and is usable for both right- and left-handed users.

The scales are made of GRN (glass-reinforced nylon), a lightweight material that is impact-resistant and naturally resistant to moisture. This makes this knife also suitable for outdoor use. On the underside of the handle is an additional lock that keeps the knife in the folded position. A carry clip at the end of the handle allows you to easily clamp the knife to your trouser pocket — a common choice for everyday use.
