The scales are made of light but sturdy 6061 T6 aluminium with a wear-resistant blue anodized coating; at the handle you'll find a tip-down pocketclip and a lanyard hole.
The blade is glass-blasted and consists of 420 HC steel — hard, tough, corrosion-resistant and easy to keep sharp. Opening is done one-handed via the flipper, assisted by the familiar SpeedSafe assisted opening system: thanks to spring tension you get an extra push in the first part of the movement.
When the knife is open, a thumb-operated liner lock keeps the blade in place. When folded, Kershaw's tip-lock slider prevents the blade from opening unintentionally. A trusted combination for anyone who wants a reliable pocket knife on them daily.
