The blade is made of 420HC steel. The elevated carbon and chromium content gives you a strong blade that resists corrosion well and is also easy to sharpen. A glass bead treatment gives the blade its matte appearance and adds extra resistance to rust and damage.
For the grip, the handle is made of glass-filled nylon with applied texture. That material lasts a long time, is weather-resistant and can take a beating. The handle features a pocket clip, which allows you to easily carry the Scallion in your pants pocket or on your belt.
