Thanks to the built-in humidity indicator, you can see directly when it's time to dry the stone: the indicator changes color from white (dry) to blue (saturated). On average, the stone remains effective for about 30 days before you need to dry it again. Keep in mind that on first use, it's wise to dry the stone completely in the microwave first, as it may have absorbed moisture during transport.

To dry, remove the protective cover and humidity indicator from the stone and then place it in the microwave for a maximum of 11 minutes at 200 to 300 watts.
