At a scale of 1:3, Goatguns brings the compact, modular MCX Rattler platform from Sig Sauer down to miniature size here. You'll find the original mainly with special forces units; however, it has never been this small before, with many working parts included.
Count on around five to ten minutes of assembly pleasure to put the kit together — a fun task that yields a surprisingly lifelike miniature. There's no shortage of detail: you can slide the sight freely forward and backward, you can fold in the stock, and you can remove the silencer. The charging handle also does its job and you can flip open the dust cover at the ejector. You'll also find a metal magazine with three dummy cartridges in the box; if you load those into the magazine and click it into the miniature, you can even cycle the system. For the collector who appreciates functional details, a rewarding model.
