This adapter fits entirely over the eyepiece and is attached to the body of the spotting scope. However, if you are looking for a direct connection via the filter thread of the camera lens, then the TSN-DA is recommended, available in related products. The Kowa TSN-PA8 offers compatibility with various spotting scopes such as the Kowa TSN-601/TSN-660 and TSN-82SV series with TE-Z9B or TE-14WD eyepieces. It also fits the Kowa High Lander when using 21x, 32x and 50x eyepieces. Older models are often usable as well, so feel free to ask about compatible options. If your set-up includes Kowa TSN-99, TSN-88, TSN-880, TSN66, or TSN-770 series with a TE-11WZ or TE-80XW eyepiece, then choose the TSN-PA7A, available as an optional accessory. Easy installation Installation is super easy, in less than a minute everything is installed. See the images for an illustrative diagram. Remove the eyepiece from the scope and remove the protective ring on the body. Screw the TSN-PA8 inner ring on for that stable connection. Attach the T2 adapter to the TSN-PA8 adapter and connect this assembly to the camera body. Slide it over the eyepiece and the inner ring, and secure it with the thumb screws. Please note that some cameras require a menu setting because no lens is detected. Consult your camera manual for details.
